Terms and Conditions

The HCBS website (“website") is owned and operated by Hull’s Complete Boating Services (ABN ……………). Your access to the website is conditional upon your acceptance and compliance with the terms, conditions, notices and disclaimers, privacy policy and customer service documents contained in this document and elsewhere on the website (known collectively as "Terms of Use"). Your use of, and/or access to, the website constitutes your agreement to the Terms of Use. HCBS reserves the right to amend the Terms of Use at any time without notice and with immediate effect. Since you are bound by these Terms of Use, you should periodically refer to them in this document
and elsewhere on the website.

Vessel Inspections:
Our office is open from Monday to Friday 8.30 am-6.00 pm and on Saturdays from 9.00 am-6.00 pm. Inspections are welcome by appointment. Please contact our office on 0413 483 698 or us an email at via our website www.hcbs.com If you can’t visit us and would still like to view our boat, go to our website and click on the gallery option.


Child Prices:

Children under the age of 5 years are free of charge. Children between the ages of 5-14 years of age are charged at half price.


Additional People:

In case you want your Photographer, MC, Band members or any other additional persons (apart you’re your guests) to remain onboard during your function, they will be charged at half price. A meal will be provided for them also.


Additional Vessel Hire:

Additional vessel hire (over & beyond what you have booked for 2/4hrs) is charged at $550 plus the consumption of your beverages.


Tentative Bookings:

Are held for 7 days only


Deposit & Final Payment:
A written Letter of Confirmation will be forwarded to you upon confirmation of your booking. A deposit of $1000 (Jan – Oct) or $3000 (Nov-Dec) or 10% whichever is the greater is required to secure your booking, based on the anticipated guest numbers quoted. Final payment & passenger numbers is due no less than 7 days prior to your cruise date. Final payment is not refundable and not transferable. We accept payment by direct transfer, cheque or money order and prefer VISA or Mastercard payments. Should a payment be made via AMEX/DINERS a 3% credit card fee will apply. We’re able o accept up to 5 additional guests after the full payment has been paid which must be settled on the cruise.

Cancellation:

The deposit is only refundable on cancellations received in writing 60 days or more prior to your cruise date. Should you book within a 60 day period your deposit will not be refundable. Should there be a valid refund, if you have paid by credit card, credit card fees will apply on your refund i.e. VISA & M/C


Damages:

All breakages & damages must be paid for.


Delays:

Due to the increase of traffic during the months of November-December and Special events delays may be experienced during pick up & drop off times.


Public Holiday Surcharge:

Prices will differ on Public Holidays & Special Events. A 20% surcharge applies for Public Holidays. Nov – Dec Period In order to better accommodate the high demand of our customers in the peak period of November and December, a minimum booking of 100 guests is required on Friday and Saturday evenings.

Shared Cruises

  • Tentative bookings are held for up to 7 days only
  • $20 deposit is required at the time of booking
  • In case of cancellation after payment of deposit $20 per person will be retained
  • Full payment is required 7 working days prior to cruise date
  • We do not refund or transfer deposits or final payments on tickets
  • No refunds for no-shows
  • A Surcharge may apply on public holidays
  • Family tickets are valid for 2 adults & 2 children
  • Children are between the ages of 5-14 years
  • Concession includes full time students and Australian seniors/pensioners
  • Exact wharf may be subject to change
  • Vagabond Cruises accepts no responsibility in the event that patrons are offended by traditional Brazilian costumes
  • Although music volumes are not loud by night club standards, we accept no responsibility if music volumes are received by some patrons to be of unacceptable levels
  • Vagabond Cruises holds no liability to delays which may occur onboard
  • All breakages & damages must be paid for onboard
  • We strictly do not accept BYO
  • Management and beverage service staff reserve the right to terminate the service of alcohol if patrons appear intoxicated and/or disembark patrons at the nearest wharf
  • We do not serve any shots, slammers or doubles
  • Bar service will seize 10 minutes prior to disembarking
  • Bar packages and seafood options must be pre-booked and are available for the entire group booking only
  • Prices are in Australian Dollars and subject to change without notice
  • Special cruises & prices apply for the 25th, 26th & 31st Dec and 26th Jan
  • Your table may be shared with another group if needed to facilitate seating of all booked guests onboard

  • All cruises may be booked through your hotel concierge, agent or Vagabond Cruises
  • Wheelchair access may be made available upon your request, however some areas onboard are not accessable by wheelchair
  • Prices subject to change without notice
  • Vagabond Cruises reserve the right to a)change any price b)amend or cancel any service route or other information c) substitute any vessel in our brochure or website without incurring liability
  • Payment of deposit constitutes acceptance of our terms and conditions

We do not accept any BYO, our vessels are Fully Licensed, ID may be required to purchase alcoholic beverages from the bar. You are entitled to a full refund;

  • If you cancel up to 7 days prior to commencement.
  • Booking made within 7 days of commencement date are non-refundable. Failure to notify us 7 days prior to the starting date of a failed medical will result in a Cancellation fee of $100.
